Perfect and magnificent position, we liked staying here.

The hotel was peaceful and fairly clean, overlooked garden. The bathroom in our villa was large. It had a refrigerator, an oven, and glassware. The staff were all best, attentive.

There was good choice of outstanding meals. Location: the hotel was short walk to open air restaurant, the most magnificent beaches in the world and the nature. Also, it was good for exploring Grande Beach, as it's 15 minutes' walk away.

The restaurant was excellent with great food, I tried excellent dishes. The facilities were beautiful.

Property was fabulous, I liked the stay.

I had a such great stay. My room included ample space and a kitchen. The service was exceptional and the pool was amazing. Also, free Wi-Fi throughout the property was really handy. The food I tried was fresh and they have a lot of meals to choose from.

The rooms were relaxing, tidy, came with the garden and a great breakfast, as example.

Nice bed and nicely decorated and well-kept room. Large own bathroom. Unbeatable and magnificent location - 4-6 minutes walking distance from Palm Beach Estates. Also, in a national park that is home to nesting turtles.

loved my stay at a private and peaceful beachside hotel in Playa Grande. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was amazing. The room was cozy with good air conditioning and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Happy hour was a highlight too!

Cleanliness could be improved.

We appreciated the service and staff at Hotel Cantarana. The hotel had everything we needed, including a very clean room with nice touches such as a personal safe, multi-channel TV, and a sitting area. The location was convenient, with Playa Grande downtown just an easy walk away. The food at the hotel was also reasonably priced. it was a brilliant base for a 2-night stay.

The room was well-kept and neat and faced garden. The bed in our room was extremely comfy. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and incredibly nice. The location was excellent right next to a nature reserve. Plus, it was so close to the restaurant.

The location was fantastic, just a minute's walk to the beach where I could enjoy breathtaking sunsets. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the whole property was clean and serene. I loved that they provided beach chairs and towels so I could relax by the ocean. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with a menu that had something for everyone. I also appreciated that the staff spoke fluent English, making communication easy for me as a first-time traveler to Costa Rica.

For us, the hotel was ideal. 😊

As young people, we loved the access to a private beach and the option to walk to Tamarindo via the beach and take a water taxi. The restaurant had delicious food with plenty of options, and the staff were really nice. We also enjoyed the kitchen space and cooked some meals. The pool was great, and we even had a swim with a cute frog. The outdoor shower was a nice touch, and the indoor shower always had hot water. The location was fantastic, with stunning sunsets and lots of seashells on Playa Grande beach. The hotel also had entertainment and excellent food, and it was quiet at night.
